CQEM is pleased to announce that Sam Elkin has received a Vertically-Integrated Project (VIP) Graduate Mentor Award for the Spring 2024 semester! Sam played an instrumental role in mentoring a team of 9 undergraduates ranging in degree progress from first-year through senior and coming from electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, and applied mathematics majors. The team made exceptional accomplishments in implementing novel 3D electromagnetic finite element method codes and creating components to simulate the dynamics of quantum electromagnetic fields interacting with artificial atoms.
