Prof. Roth wins 1st place in URSI EMTS Young Scientist paper competition
Prof. Roth received 1st place among the URSI EMTS Young Scientist Awardees in the poster competition for his paper titled "Hybrid 1D Maxwell-Schrödinger modeling of dispersive regime effects of a transmon qubit". Each Young Scientist Awardee prepared a poster based on their paper that was then evaluated by a panel of judges on the scientific quality of the paper/poster, the scientific activities of the applicant, the applicant's presentation skills, and their ability to answer evaluator questions.
