The Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering Student Advisory Council (AAESAC) is comprised of students within the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics. AAESAC meets regularly as an organization and with the administration. The group serves to facilitate interactions and the relationship between faculty and the student body, to advise the administration on issues and concerns of students pertaining to the department, and generally strives to improve the school in hopes of enhancing the educational experience.

AAESAC is comprised of 3 main committees and these committees work in tandem to provide all Aero students with equal opportunity of growing connections both professionally and socially. Our committees consist of a social committee aimed at planning and hosting social events for Aero students to get to know one another, a mentoring committee aimed at providing Aero students with more knowledge from Alumni and professors, and a career committee aimed at providing Aero students with the career-related opportunities.
