	AAE Professor Martin Corless has book published School of Aeronautics and Astronautics Professor Martin Corless has co-authored the book “AIMD Dynamics and Distributed Resource Allocation” published by the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics.
	AAE graduate student named one of Aviation Week's "20 Twenties" AAE graduate student Deepak Atyam is being recognized as one of "Tomorrow’s Engineering Leaders: The 20 Twenties." The award recognizes top engineering, math, science and technology students based on their academic excellence, research and projects undertaken, and the contributions they are making to the broader community.
	AAE Associate Professor and PhD student win Combustion Art Competition AAE Associate Professor Li Qiao and PhD student Sayan Biswas were recently awarded first prize for artistic merit in the 2015 Combustion Art Competition. Biswas says the artwork, titled “Afrit (Arabian mythology) - The Fire Monster,” came out of their current research that focuses on developing advanced fuel efficient and emission free combustion system for gas engines.
	AAE Assistant Professor Sally Bane awarded YIP grant AAE Assistant Professor Sally Bane has been awarded a Young Investigator Research Program (YIP) grant through the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR).
	AAE PhD student receives 2016 Alexander Kossiakoff Scholarship AAE PhD student Ali Raz is the recipient of the 2016 Johns Hopkins University/ Applied Physics Laboratory Alexander Kossiakoff Scholarship from the INCOSE Foundation.
