Professor DeLaurentis, AAE, selected as panelist for faculty symposia preceding the Córdova inauguration
Professor DeLaurentis is one of eighteen Purdue faculty members selected to participate in three April 11 faculty symposia that precede the inauguration. He will take part in the "Serious Games for Serious Learning: Harnessing the Digital Generation" panel discussion.

Former European Space Agency chair to speak at AAE's William E. Boeing Distinguished Lecture
The former council chairman of the European Space Agency (ESA) will talk about Europe's space policy during the William E. Boeing Distinguished Lecture at Purdue on Thursday (April 10). Sigmar Wittig, a former Purdue professor, served as the ESA's council chair from 2005-07.

Zonta International awards Amelia Earhart Fellowships to AAE Students
The Zonta International Amelia Earhart Fellowships were established in honor of Amelia Earhart, famed pilot and Zonta club member. The Fellowships are granted annually to women pursuing doctoral degrees in aerospace-related sciences and engineering.

NTSB administrator will speak on investigating aviation crashes at AAE Collquium
Thomas E. Haueter, director of the Office of Aviation Safety with the board, will speak at Purdue on Thursday (March 20) about engineering challenges in aviation accident investigations and accident prevention.
