AAE Alum Polansky and Purdue Alum Wolf to Fly on Shuttle Endeavour Space-station Mission
Commander Mark Polansky and mission specialist David Wolf will fly on the June 13 NASA expedition to the international space station. The shuttle Endeavour will deliver the final components of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's Kibo lab and ferry a new crew member to the station.

STS-127 - Go For Launch With Twitter Updates and Questions via YouTube
Purdue's ties to space continues with alumnus Commander Mark L. Polansky BSAAE'78; MSAAE'78 and Mission Specialist Dr. David A.Wolf BSEE'78 serving as crew on STS-127. Polansky will be the 2nd astronaut to "Tweet" from space, posting Twitter updates as astro_127.
