Herbert F. Rogers Award - Jenny DePauw

AAE senior Jenny DePauw has been selected to win this year's Rogers Herbert F. Rogers Award.
Named for alumnus Herbert F. Rogers, this is one of our school's most important awards and it is awarded to Purdue AAE senior students who are “deemed most worthy and deserving by his/her contributions to the growth of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics in fostering engineering as an academic discipline.”
Our school' Awards Committee along with two student members selected Jenny from among a group of talented and outstanding candidates for this award.
Jenny was the director for Purdue Space Day 2011 with AAE alumnus Gary Payton as guest astronaut. Jenny oversaw this major educational outreach event that had record numbers of attendance. We thank Jenny for her outstanding efforts in supporting our school and fostering engineering as an academic discipline.
