Profs. Aravind Machiry and Jamie Davis are funded to work on research projects with Rolls Royce. Rolls-Royce launched a new cybersecurity research network in 2021 with Purdue and CMU, focused on enhancing product security for platforms with the company’s propulsion and power systems.
Profs. Aravind Machiry and James Davis signed a one-year contract with Rolls Royce to study cybersecurity vulnerabilities in safety-critical embedded systems. The two projects are titled:
- Interactively Converting to Checked C
- Dynamic Analysis of Embedded Firmware
