Chad Jafvert, Lyles Family Professor of Civil Engineering and Professor of Environmental and Ecological Engineering, has been named the 2022 recipient of the Excellence in Environmental Engineering and Science Education (E4S) Award by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers & Scientists.

A team including Purdue EEE graduate students were recently named Technology Bonus Prize Semifinalists for the Great Lakes Region in the EnergyTech University Prize.

Dr. Nina L. Robinson, Administrative Director of Purdue Environmental and Ecological Engineering, has received a Bravo Award for her extraordinary work over the past year.

Purdue EEE courtesy faculty member Jim Braun received the F. Paul Anderson Award from ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers). This is ASHRAE's highest award, given yearly for notable achievement in the HVAC industry.

Dr. John W. Sutherland has been named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for his award-winning teaching and research and his ground-breaking work to establish the field of sustainable manufacturing.

Ernest Blatchley, John Howarter, Loring Nies, Lindsey Payne Haugen, and
Andrew Whelton have earned outstanding evaluations from students in their grad and undergrad Purdue Engineering courses.

Brady Hardiman (Environmental and Ecological Engineering, Forestry and Natural Resources) was recognized as Richard L. Kohls Outstanding Early Career Teacher by the College of Agriculture.

EEE PhD student Kendrick Hardaway has been selected as a Latinx Trailblazers in Engineering Fellow by the Purdue University College of Engineering.

Purdue EEE graduate student Taymee Brandon was awarded a 2021 Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
