SEE Welcomes New Graduate Program Administrator

The Purdue University School of Sustainability Engineering and Environmental Engineering (SEE) is pleased to welcome Minde Freischlag as its new Graduate Program Administrator.

Freischlag brings more than a decade of higher education experience to the role, along with a strong background in student support, academic administration and creative problem-solving. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Indiana State University in 2002 and spent many years in the creative and commercial printing industry before transitioning to higher education.

Since beginning her career in higher education in 2015 at Wabash College, Freischlag has been dedicated to supporting students and advancing academic programs. She joined Purdue University in 2021, where she supported graduate education in Art & Design before serving as PhD Coordinator in the Department of Computer Science. Her experience in graduate program administration and student success will be a valuable asset as she joins SEE.

In her new role with SEE, Freischlag will manage and administer the Environmental and Ecological Engineering (EEE) graduate program, guide students in course selection and plans of study, monitor progress toward degree completion, and work closely with the graduate committee chair to process applications.

“I am excited to join SEE and contribute to the continued growth and success of the graduate program,” said Freischlag. “I look forward to supporting students as they pursue their academic and professional goals.”

Please join us in welcoming Minde to the SEE community.
