Carthage undergraduate students visit to Purdue

Summer research undergraduate student from Carthage college visited our lab.

Students working with Dr. Joseph Anderson, a former group member, visited Purdue university, materials science engineering department and our lab. They were introduced to a wide range of computational modeling tools ranging froma atomistics to mesoscale continuum levels. Topics included density functional theory, molecular dynamics, kinetic Monte Carlo, Fast Fourier transform, finite element, discrete dislocation dynamics, and continuum dislocation dynamics.
