College recognizes spring 2019 Outstanding Teachers
The Purdue College of Engineering recognized 24 outstanding engineering teachers for Spring 2019, including Andrew Liu and four other Purdue IE faculty members.
These exemplary faculty, lecturers and other staff received teaching evaluation scores of 4.7 or higher in classes with enrollments of 10 or more, and 50% or higher response rates, based on student evaluations from courses taught in Engineering in spring 2019.
Congratulations to:
- Andrew (Lu) Liu, associate professor of industrial engineering, director of the Integrated lntelligent Electric Power Grid Lab
- Hua Cai, assistant professor of industrial engineering and joint appointment with environmental & ecological engineering, director of the Urban Sustainability Modeling & Analysis Research Team (uSMART)
- Susan Hunter, assistant professor of industrial engineering
- Yuehwern Yih, academic director of the LASER PULSE Consortium, associate director of the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering, director of the Smart Operations and Systems (SOS) Lab, and professor of industrial engineering
- Denny Yu, assistant professor of industrial engineering, director of the Healthcare Ergonomics Analytics Lab (HEAL)
In 2018, the College recognized four of the same Purdue IE professors as Outstanding Faculty: Hunter, Liu, Yih, and Yu.
