Integrated Quantum Photonics

In our group, we develop miniaturized sources and memories integrated into a silicon photonic chip. We study multimode interactions and collective dynamics of light-atom interaction to realize such devices. Multimode interaction of light with atomic spin integrated with micro/nano-photonic structures can provide a powerful platform for controlling quantum optical information on chip. Such multimode interactions in hybrid systems are investigated in our group and their application in developing quantum optical devices are being explored.
