Scholarship recipients announced during annual EEE Recognition Night

At the annual EEE Recognition Night, several scholarships were announced in recognition of students who accomplished exceptional academic performance and exemplified dedication to the University and the field of environmental engineering.

Treann Quick received the EEE External Advisory Council (EAC) Scholarship. In its third year of being awarded, the EEE EAC recognizes Quick for her dedicated commitment to supporting the EEE organization and serving as a champion of the EEE vision.

Within EEE, Quick has served on the Student Advisory Council, a group that facilitates dialogue between EEE undergraduates and the EEE faculty & staff. Additionally, she has been instrumental in bringing attention to the importance of mentoring within the EEE student experience. She also served as a team captain for Purdue Relay For Life and is involved in the Purdue Society of Women Engineers.

 

Ryan Gansemer received the Partners for Pollution Prevention Scholarship in recognition of his scholarship and interests in industrial sustainability. This is the second year that the scholarship has been awarded.

Gansemer will be a senior in EEE next year and is part of the Honors College at Purdue.  His academic achievements include being a Trustee Scholar, Murdock Scholar, and is on the Dean’s List. In addition, he has dedicated involvement with many organizations around campus, including Boiler Gold Rush, Purdue Engineering Outreach, Tau Beta Pi – Indiana Alpha Chapter, and the Purdue Student Sustainability Council.
 

Mark Rodriguez received a Phillips 66 Scholarship for the past academic year. This is the second time that a Phillips 66 scholarship has been awarded to an EEE student.
