Shrea is born in Kolkata, earned her bachelor's degree in biotechnology engineering from Bengal Institute of Technology, India. She completed her master's in molecular life sciences from Friedrich Schiller University, Germany. She pursued her Ph.D. at Cardiff University, UK, focusing on Hyaluronan-dependent regulation of vascular smooth muscle cell phenotype and vascular calcification in chronic kidney disease patients. Currently, she is engaged as a Post-Doc in Dr. Chan's lab, further contributing to the understanding of Hyaluronan's role in various aspects of human health and diseases.
