Dr. Chan is awarded an NSF CAREER Award

Deva has received a Faculty Early Career Development award for her proposed work entitled "CAREER: Regulation of Hyaluronan Production and Function by Biomechanical Signals"

The proposal "CAREER: Regulation of Hyaluronan Production and Function by Biomechanical Signals" has been accepted for funding by the National Science Foundation within the Biomechanics and Mechanobiology (BMMB) program.

This award supports Chan Lab work in the mechanobiology of hyaluronan synthesis under normal and inflammatory conditions, as well as efforts in STEM education and outreach. More information can be found on NSF's website for Award #1944394.
