The Young MSR Conference, organised by the EU funded SAMOSAFER project at the premises of Politecnico di Milano, is held in Lecco, Italy from June 6th to June 8th 2022, with two keynote presentations by Hany Abdel-Khalik from Purdue University) and Manuele Aufiero from Milano Multiphysics. SAMOSAFER is a European research project, funded by the European Commission, focusing on the development and demonstration of innovative safety barriers for a more controlled behaviour of Molten Salt Reactors during severe accidents.
