Three new faculty in resilience of cyber systems join CRISP

Three new faculty with expertise in resilience of cyber systems have joined CRISP as affiliate faculty in September and October. David Inouye (ECE) and Yexiang Xue (CS) focus on reliability and interpretability of machine learning systems while Lin Tan (CS) has a focus on software reliability and security.
Three faculty members have recently joined CRISP as affiliate faculty and bolster our strength in the thrust of resilience in cyber systems.

Joining in September are:
- Prof. David Inouye from Electrical and Computer Engineering: David specializes in machine learning focused on the fundamentals of generative probabilistic models and explainable AI.
- Prof. Yexiang Xue from Computer Science: Yexiang specializes in large-scale constraint-based reasoning and optimization with state-of-the-art machine learning techniques. He has a strong background in application to sustainable computing.
Joining in October is:
- Prof. Lin Tan from Computer Science: Lin is an expert in software engineering, with specific focus in software dependability, defect detection and repair, and software text analytics.
