CRISP wins NSF award for hosting a Grand Challenges Workshop

CRISP leadership team has been awarded a grant from NSF to organize a Grand Challenges in Resilience workshop. The workshop will be held on the Purdue campus in Spring 2019 and will feature a host of invited speakers from outside Purdue together with participants from the Purdue community.

The workshop has been awarded by the NSF CISE Directorate and will be billed as the "Grand Challenges in Resilience" workshop. It will be spread over 2 days and will feature programs in each of the three thrust areas: Cyber, Cyber physical, and Built infrastructure and Socio-technical systems. For each thrust area, there will be a keynote, directed talks, panel discussion, breakout group discussion, and report out. NSF Program Managers will be in attendance. The plan is to host a poster session for the Purdue researchers to showcase their innovations.
