CRISP Director Prof. Saurabh Bagchi gave a keynote at the 1st Annual Symposium of the USC (University of Southern California)-Amazon Center on on Secure & Trusted Machine Learning. The symposium was held at USC on April 21, 2022. The symposium was hosted by Salman Avestimehr, Director of the Center, and Prem Natarajan, VP in Amazon's Alexa Unit.
Prof. Bagchi's talk was titled "Making Wimpy Devices Do Strong Analytics". The other keynote of the day was given by Prof. Bin Yu from the University of California at Berkeley. The symposium featured presentations by Amazon Fellow students and the center-supported faculty. Dean of USC Engineering, Prof. Yannis Yortsos, gave the introductory comments.
