Ugur is a Ph.D. student at Purdue Nuclear Engineering department. He got his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Cumhuriyet University in Turkey (2012) and MS in Material Science Engineering from the Bursa Technical University in Turkey (2017). He received a North America Best Presentation Award during the 28th International Conference on Nuclear Engineering (ICONE28). His research interests include passive system analysis for nuclear reactors.
