Current research focuses in ABE Plant Sensor Lab include：

1. Develope machine learning models for herbicide mode of action analysis and chemical stress detection.

（A customized index derived from hyperspectral images that can differentiate stress caused by Dicamba from 2,4-D stress.）

 

2. Develope plant phenotyping technologies for early detection of crop disease.

3. Identification of soybean and corn crop nutrient deficiencies with spatial-spectral analysis on leaf-level hyperspectral and multispectral images.
