How to Register for Summer 2022

Please note: Purdue uses the “old” time ticket method for summer registration, rather than the batch registration system all students used in the fall.

1. Look up your Registration Time Ticket on MyPurdue. (“Student Info” block > “Registration Status”). Summer time tickets will start as early as Jan 24th!

2. Discuss the course(s) you’d like to take with your advisor.

3. You may register for summer classes during your time ticket and then again during summer open registration, starting Feb 28th. 

This is almost the same as submitting a Course Request Form, but you will receive a schedule immediately.

Do I need a PIN to register?

Yes, your Summer 2022 PIN is the same as your Spring 2022 PIN.

What are AAE courses that I can take this summer?

Will summer classes be in-person or online?

Courses marked as Distance (DIST) courses will be taught online. Everything else will be taught in person.

Can I take a summer class somewhere else and transfer it back to Purdue?

Yes, this may be possible but you MUST discuss with your advisor ahead of time to make sure that your course will transfer correctly.

Is there summer financial aid?

Yes!  Apply for summer aid through your myPurdue portal before March 1.
