The Flying Tigers Association is pleased to announce that we will be offering a $2000 scholarship in honor of the AVG (American Volunteer Group) to students whose field of study relates to either aviation or history. Applicants must also be full-time students, sophomore-level or above, have U.S. Citizenship, and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. 

To apply, please email the following information to Scholarship Chairman Joseph Peeden at josephpeeden@gmail.com by Thursday, September 14th. 

• A brief statement outlining how you fulfill the above requirements (stating Major and GPA)
• A short 500-1000 word essay on the history and legacy of the AVG/Flying Tigers 
• A letter of recommendation
