Our colleagues in Mechanical Engineering are hosting Prof. Ed Greitzer from MIT in a virtual seminar visit on January 27.   He will be talking about the work he participated in that led to the D8 “Double Bubble” aircraft concept for the NASA Subsonic Fixed Wing program that could have an estimated 70% reduction in fuel burn.
