Prof. Tasos Lyrintzis to Chair Aero Program at Embry-Riddle
Professor Tasos Lyrintzis, Associate Head of our school and Director of our school's graduate program, will become the Chair of the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Embry-Riddle University in Florida, effective Jan. 2012.

Students building rocket for moon vehicle
AAE students are part of a team working on a rocket engine that might be used in a vehicle to land on the moon. The work is part of the NASA-funded Project Morpheus, which includes research to develop new technologies for future trips to the moon, Mars or asteroids.
