Purdue Space Day 2012
Purdue Space Day 2012 starts off on Saturday October 20, with a presentation by three Purdue astronauts and alumni Andrew Feustel, Scott Tingle and David Wolf who will give a presentation which is free and open to the public. 9:30am - 10:30am in the Elliot Hall of Music. The event will be live streamed.

Purdue Space Day 2012 kicks of on Friday with astronauts and Purdue University alumni Andrew Feustel and Scott Tingle giving a talk Friday Oct. 19 on campus. The event, which is free and open to the public, begins at 8 p.m. in the Class of 1950 Lecture Hall.

Purdue to help lead FAA center on general aviation
Purdue University has been chosen as one of the lead institutions for a new Federal Aviation Administration Air Transportation Center of Excellence for general aviation.
The Center of Excellence Partnership to Enhance General Aviation Safety, Accessibility and Sustainability (PEGASAS) will focus research and testing efforts on safety, accessibility and sustainability to enhance the future of general aviation.

Outstanding Aerospace Engineer Awards 2012
The School of Aeronautics and Astronautics are pleased to honor eight graduates of AAE with the designation "Outstanding Aerospace Engineer Award." The award banquet will take place on Friday September 28, 2012.
