	Purdue Space Day 2014 The 19th annual Purdue Space Day (PSD) will take place the weekend of Friday, October 24th and Saturday, October 25th with guest VIP School of Aeronautics and Astronautics Alum and Astronaut Charlie Walker (BSAAE'71, OAE'99).
	School of AAE Ph.D. candidate Christabelle Bosson recognized for recent achievements School of AAE Ph.D. candidate Christabelle Bosson has received commendation two recent contributions to the aviation field of air traffic management.
	Dr. Vikas Tomar, School of AAE, elected as Associate Fellow in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Purdue University's School of Aeronautics and Astronautics professor, Dr. Vikas Tomar, has been elected to the grade of Associate Fellow in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
	School of Aeronautics and Astronautics Ph.D. candidate Sarag Saikia featured in Purdue's 5 Students Who Move the World Forward Purdue University School of AAE Ph.D. candidate, Sarag Saikia, was recently featured in a Purdue News story, 5 Students Who Move the World Forward.
	School of AAE Graduate Student Michael Bedard Presents Research Paper at 2014 International Astronautical Congress Michael Bedard, graduate student of School of AAE Professor William Anderson, recently presented a paper to the 65th International Astronautical Congress in Toronto, Canada. The paper, Student Design/Build/Test of a Throttleable LOX/LCH4 Thrust Chamber, was written by Bedard, along with fellow AAE graduate student Eric Meier, and AAE faculty member, Dr. William Anderson. The project detailed in the paper is based on liquid oxygen/liquid methane rocket engine development for the NASA Morpheus test vehicle.
