Full-scale model of unmanned plane to be at Purdue airport
A full-scale model of the Northrop Grumman Global Hawk unmanned military aircraft will be on display Wednesday and Thursday (Sept. 9 and 10) at Purdue University Airport.

AAE Grad Student Diane Craig Davis receives 2009 Amelia Earhart Fellowship from Zonta International
The Zonta International Amelia Earhart Fellowships were established in honor of Amelia Earhart, famed pilot and Zonta club member. The Fellowships are granted annually to women pursuing doctoral degrees in aerospace-related sciences and engineering.
AAE Researchers involved in the AFOSR and NASA Launch of Test Rocket Fueled by Environmentally-Friendly, Aluminum-Ice Propellant
AAE courtesy faculty Steven Son noted that the ALICE propellant can be improved to become a potential solid rocket propellant on Earth. On the Moon or Mars, ALICE can be manufactured in place instead of being transported at a large cost.
Purdue Libraries to Open Astronaut Exhibit
Mementos, artifacts and personal papers from Neil Armstrong, Eugene Cernan and other Purdue astronaut alumni will be on display until Oct. 30 as the university celebrates its rich space heritage and the 40th anniversary of the historic first walk on the moon.
