Best Purdue event or organization that you participated in within AAE?

Helping out for Homecoming because you get to meet great Purdue AAE alumni that are doing amazing things in the world!

Best Purdue event or organization that you participated in outside of AAE?

My fraternity, Delta Upsilon. Being a part of this organization has helped me become a better person through friendship and merit.

Favorite place on campus:

The Purdue Memorial Union. I was first introduced to Purdue through the Purdue Jazz Fest that I attended twice with my high school jazz bands. We performed in the Union as well as Stewart Center.

Favorite class you have taken thus far and why?

AAE 352 with Prof. Sangid. This class helped me solidify my choice of majoring in Structures. I was able to get a great sense of the different structural information and analysis I would need to be successful in aerospace design.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a potential AAE student?

Always reach out to professors. They are always there to help you learn and succeed. Just by talking to them you could land potential research opportunities on campus.

Who is someone you look up to in the Aero/Astro industry and why?

Neil Armstrong has always been an idol of mine. He was a pioneer for humankind and an inspiration to all. Yet he always remained a humble person. And after his career as an astronaut, he continued to be involved in the field of space and aeronautics.

What motivates you to succeed?

My biggest motivator has always been my family. They continue to support me no matter what obstacles I face.

What is your ultimate career goal?

My ultimate career goal is to start my own company in the field of aerospace.
