AAE Assistant Professor Michael Grant Wins Best Paper Award

AAE Assistant Professor Michael Grant received the Atmospheric Flight Mechanics Best Paper Award for a paper he presented at the 2015 AIAA Conference in Dallas, TX.

AAE Assistant Professor Michael Grant was presented with the Atmospheric Flight Mechanics Best Paper Award at the 2016 AIAA SciTech Forum and Exposition for his paper titled “Rapid, Robust Trajectory Design Using Indirect Optimization Methods.” The award was for the best conference paper presented at the 2015 AIAA Conference in Dallas, TX. Co-author on the paper is Michael A. Bolender (Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB).

Professor Grant previously won the AIAA Atmospheric Flight Mechanics Best Paper Award in 2007, 2009 and 2010.
