Arika Armstrong - Roberta Banaszak Gleiter/GIFTE Scholarship Award
Jessica Powell - Outstanding Senior, Corning, Inc
The Society of Women Engineers student section was founded at Purdue in 1954, as a nonprofit, educational service organization. Since then, its goals have grown to encompass the recruitment, retention, and placement of women engineers in school and in the workplace. SWE provides opportunities for students to enhance their professional, technical, and leadership skills while making important contacts in industry and making lifelong friends on campus.
