Event Date: August 1, 2011
Don Fry, a PhD candidate, won the Best Paper Award at the 6th IEEE International Conference on System-of-Systems Engineering, held June 27-30, 2011 in Albuquerque, NM.

Pic of Don FrySelected from all papers presented at the conference, his paper entitled;Measuring Net-Centricity" was judged the best based on the quality and content of the paper as well as on the presentation Don made at the conference. Don's PhD advisor, Associate Professor Dan DeLaurentis, was a co-author on the paper.

Don's research interests include aerospace design and optimization in system-of-systems contexts, agent-based modeling of combat scenarios and the incorporation of SoS constructs, and exploration of interconnectivity and interactions of entities in complex systems.

Don received his MS in Aeronautical Astronautical Engineering, Purdue University in 2007 and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Brigham Young University in 2005
