AAE Assistant Professor Vikas Tomar receives ASME Materials Division 2010 ORR Award

AAE Assistant Professor Vikas Tomar is the recipient of the ASME Materials Division Orr "Early Career" Award for 2010.
This Early Career Award is given by the Orr Family through the Materials Division of the ASME to recognize early career research excellence in the general area of Failure of Materials, with particular emphasis on experimental, computational, and/or theoretical aspects of fatigue, fracture, or creep.
Any researcher within 5 years of terminal degree and working in experimental, computational, and/or theoretical aspects of fatigue, fracture, or creep can be considered for the Materials Division Orr Early Career Award.
Professor Tomar will receive his award at the Materials Division Reception at the annual ASME IMECE meeting in 2011.
