AAE 418 "Vomit Comet" Features on Big Ten Network

"Boiler Bytes 6," a 30-minute video news magazine produced by Purdue, will premiere on the Big Ten Network at 10 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 24).

Included in the program is a feature on students from Prof. Steven Collicott's AAE 418 class who were seeking to ride in near-zero gravity with their own experiment on NASA's "vomit comet" airplane. Since the prgram was filmed, the team, led by Stephanie Sumcad, has been succesful and will fly from NASA Johnson Space Center in June.
