Purdue Alumni Astronauts Speak at Apollo Celebration

Purdue alumni Mark Polansky and David Wolf, who are currently on the shuttle Endeavour's mission to the international space station, provided a video message for the NASA celebration of the Apollo program on Monday (July 20).

Purdue alumni Mark Polansky and David Wolf, who are currently on the shuttle Endeavour's mission to the international space station, provided a video message for the NASA celebration of the Apollo program on Monday (July 20). With a Purdue banner in the background, Polansky and Wolf talked about how the moon landing inspired them when they were students at Purdue and how the space program continues to provide inspiration for others. The astronauts ended their video with a cheer of "Go Boilers" and a fist bump. Notice the logo on the cap floating in the foreground as well. To watch the video, click here.
