AAE Student Design Team Ties for Second Place in NASA Aeronautics 2008-2009 Competition

The NASA Aeronautics Student competition required students to propose ideas or design concepts for a commercial transport that can fly faster than the speed of sound over land or water.

One of the AAE 451 teams from Spring 2009 modified their final report and entered the NASA aeronautics design competition; they tied for second place. Some of the team members will be attending the NASA Fundamental Aeronautics Meeting at the end of September to present their work and receive recognition for this.
