In a recent collaborative effort with colleagues from Purdue University, we studied how the effective dimensionality in an interacting ensemble of donors and acceptors can be manipulated via resonant plasmonic lattices. This puts forward an entirely new approach to manipulating the long-range dipole-dipole interactions which are at the heart of several phenomena including energy transfer, energy harvesting, and long-range entanglement.
