Dr. Tallman was selected by the Purdue University College of Engineering to win the Faculty Excellence Award for Early Career Teaching for "the use of innovative, evidence-based instructional methods in his classes, and for spearheading significant improvements to the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics’ undergraduate curriculum."
