Dr. Tallman and collaborators from Massachusetts General Hospital (Dr. Kartik Varadarajan) and MIT (Dr. John Hart) developed a new diagnostic technique that could enable early, cost-effective, and accurate diagnosis of orthopaedic joint replacement implant loosening. Their work, presented by Dr. Varadarajan, was recognized at the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS) 2019 Annual Meeting by winning the award for best podium presentation.
