Lab and Facilities
Birck Nanotechnology Center
Much of our work involves a combination of commercial chip fabrication along side custom processes. For all of our custom fabrication, we utilize the Birck Nanotechnology Center. The 187,000 sq ft. facility includes a 25,000 sq. ft. ISO Class 3-4-5-6 (Class 1-10-100-1000) nanofabrication cleanroom—the Scifres Nanofabrication Laboratory—that includes a 2,500 sq. ft. ISO Class 6 (Class 1000) pharmaceutical-grade biomolecular cleanroom. In addition to the cleanroom, the BNC includes a suite of specialized laboratories that provide outstanding capabilities to researchers.
Bindley Bioscience Center
The Bindley Bioscience Center allows us to integrate interdisciplinary life sciences research with engineering to create unique opportunities to solve global challenges in the life sciences. Bindley is connected to Birck, which allows for increased collaboration with our partners in the biosciences.
WANG 3058 RF Characterization Lab
The RF Characterization lab is well equipped to verify the functionality of prototypes from DC to sub-millimeter wave. The lab has multiple VNAs and Spectrum analyzers, DC characterization equipment, soldering equipment, 3D printers, and more.
