Undergraduate Student
Ben is a first-year engineering student at Purdue University interested in civil engineering. They are from Lincoln, Nebraska, and are interested in studying issues of equity, justice, and sustainability within our built environments and transportation. They hope to be able to investigate and pursue ways of making transit and public transportation more accessible and environmentally friendly for all communities. To aid in their understanding of social issues that often interact with our built environments, Ben is also pursuing a minor in LGBTQ Studies. Outside of their studies, Ben is a member of the Purdue Space Program High Altitudes team. They also enjoy running, listening to and making music, and spending time with friends.
