Two Heinz Lab members have been invited to present their work at the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) Spring 2026 Meeting in Philadelphia. PhD student Fernando Aguilera de Alba and Postdoctoral Fellow Afagh Farhadi will share their research in a trainee-focused special session, with ASA travel awards supporting both presentations.
The talks will be featured in the special session “Blossoming Science & Cultivating Researchers in Psychological & Physiological Acoustics,” which highlights innovative research by early-career scientists in psychological and physiological acoustics.
We’re especially excited to have two Heinz Lab talks invited in this session and grateful for the ASA travel awards that will support conference participation. We look forward to sharing our work with the acoustics community and connecting with colleagues in Philadelphia this spring!
