The award was presented by the ASEE International Division, which recognized the paper for its contribution to understanding how undergraduate global engineering experiences shape long-term career outcomes among engineering professionals. Drawing on qualitative responses from 426 engineering alumni across three U.S. universities, the study examines how global programs influence engineers' career development through the lens of Social Cognitive Career Theory, identifying three overarching themes: mindset shift, skill development, and career impact.
