Helix, developed by Figure AI, represents a significant leap forward in humanoid robotics. This advanced artificial intelligence system enables robots to perform complex household tasks using natural language commands and real-time visual processing. Unlike traditional robots that require programming for each task, Helix robots can adapt to new situations, interact with unfamiliar objects and collaborate with other robots. The system combines two AI subsystems: S2 for processing language and visual data in order to determine actions and S1 which executes those instructions into physical movements to perform desired tasks. The AI learns from analyzing videos of robotic tasks and deducing underlying commands allowing for training to only take 500 hours.
