Prospective Applicants
PhD Applicants
I am looking for bright, highly motivated PhD students who have a background in complex systems or computational neuroscience to work with me on exciting new problems in applications of brain connectomics and complex networks.
If you are interested in working in the CONNplexity Lab, please email Dr. Goñi. Include a resume or CV, a list of your publications, a statement of purpose and your contact information including an email address.
Visiting Scholar Applicants
Visiting scholars (with external funding) who are interested in the research areas of the CONNplexity Lab should contact Dr. Goñi.
Postdoc Applicants
Highly-motivated postdocs should also apply. Note that paid postdoc positions are very competitive. If the research in the CONNplexity Lab interests you, please contact Dr. Goñi directly with your resume, including the contact information of at least two references (one being your PhD advisor), plus a brief research statement of your accomplishments and what you would like to work on in the next two years as a postdoc. I will respond to your application if it seems as if you would be a good fit for the CONNplexity Lab vision and research.
MS Research Applicants
To even be considered for a position at the CONNplexity Lab, you must first apply to and be accepted by the Master's (MS) program at the Purdue School of Industrial Engineering. However, note that MS Research candidates are typically non-funded, unless they demonstrate exceptional research performance at Purdue.
If you are applying to a Purdue MS Thesis program and are interested in the CONNplexity Lab's research areas, email Dr. Goñi with your CV and make an appointment to discuss mutual interests.
Undergraduate Research Applicants
Highly-motivated undergraduate students are welcome if already admitted to Purdue University. To apply, please email Dr. Goñi.
