The PI4D student symposium held on August 10, 2016 included a poster session with competition. Among the four poster competition winners was the Cheng Lab's Delong Zhang for his poster titled "Depth-resolved mid-infrared photothermal imaging of living cells and organisms with submicron spatial resolution".  Winners recieved a $500 travel grant.

Delong Zhang is a post-doc research assistant in the Ji-Xin Cheng laboratory at the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering.
