Last week, Satya travelled to Berlin, Germany to receive the International Conference on Aluminum Alloys (ICAA) Early Research Award. He was also invited to give a plenary lecture, titled "3D Microstructure and Damage Evolution in Highly Deformed Automotive Sheet Alloys." 

The Early Career Researcher Award "recognizes outstanding young scientists who have already made a significant contribution to aluminum science, technology, and applications at an early stage of their career." We could not agree more and believe this is a true testament to the fantastic researcher and mentor Satya is.
