Rahul Franklin travelled to Grenoble, France, to take part in the 5th International Conference on Tomography of Materials & Structures to give a talk titled "Time-Resolved Microstructural Characterization of the Apis Mellifera Honeycomb." In line with the themes of the conference, Franklin's work devises novel visualizations and measurements of organic structures, with the goal of building an understanding of nature which can be turned to engineering.
