In advance of the Fall 2023 semester, Satyaroop Patnaik has joined the School of Materials' PhD program as a member of the Chawla Research Group. Satya comes to us from India's National Institute of Technology Rourkela. He will be initiating a new project in collaboration with Novelis that will quantify changes in aluminum microstructures after recycling.
